1. Remove the product from the packaging.
2. Clean the probe with a damp cloth with mild soap and wipe again with a clean damp cloth before using; do not submerge the thermometer.
3. Insert the probe 2 to 2.5 inches into the thickest part of the meat for an optimal temperature reading.
4. Give the thermometer 1 to 2 minutes to adjust to the initial temperature of the meat.
5. Clean the thermometer in between uses.
