1. Place the included 4 x AAA batteries into the battery compartment and ensure that the +/- terminals are oriented correctly as shown on the base of the scale and in the battery compartment.

2. The unit of measure is preset at pounds (lb). This can be changed to kilograms (kg) or stones (st) by pressing the unit button located on the back of the scale.

3. Place the scale on a solid and flat surface.

4. To activate, simply step onto the scale platform. The display will turn on and blink three times when the weight is confirmed. The scale will also produce an audible beep letting you know that the weight has been confirmed.

5. Step off the scale and the weight will remain on screen for 10 seconds before shutting off automatically.

IMPORTANT: Never step onto a wet scale or step on the scale platform with wet feet
to avoid injury.
