- Remove/pull the plastic insulation tab from the battery compartment.
- Set the scale on a flat, hard and even surface to ensure proper measurements.
- Press the 'POWER' button located on the front side of the scale near the display.
- Press the 'MODE' button to select the measuring mode.
- Place item to be measured onto scale.
