Scale does not power on
If the scale is brand new, ensure the plastic insulation strip has been pulled, and removed from the battery compartment. Attempt to replace the old battery with new ones. Check to see if the battery is seated properly inside of the compartment; positive side should be facing upward.

How to change from KG to LB
The unit button is located on the bottom of the scale near a the battery compartment to switch the unit of measure.
