"E" appears on the display when powered on
The "E" error code typically indicates an overloaded or malfunctioned load cell. Remove items from the scale immediately, power off the scale, unplug it from any power source for 2 minutes, and try to power the unit on again to reset. If the issue persists, please contact the retailer from whom you purchased the unit if within 1 year of the purchase date.

The display does not show any digits
Double-check the display cord input to ensure it is secure. Also, try unplugging the display's cord to apply an air blast to clean the end of the cord and try plugging it in again. If your model uses a 9-volt battery, try replacing the old one.
