Battery charging
Use the micro USB cable (included) to charge your scale utilizing a charging adapter with an output of 5 volts; 1 amp. A red battery icon on display will indicate the scale is charging. A green battery icon will indicate charging is complete.
Note: The battery indicator will begin flashing red when the battery is low, indicating that it needs to be charged. If this indicator is ignored, the display will eventually show "Lo" and the scale will shut off.

The scale turns off too soon
Choose when to have your scale power off automatically.
- Power the scale on by pressing the power key
- Press and hold the MODE key for 3 to 4 seconds to enter configuration mode (release once you see the timer change)
- When in configuration mode, the timer display will change from 0:00 to 120 (factory default).
- Press the TIMER key to select the number of seconds for automatic shut-off: 30 / 60 / 120 / 180 / 240 / 300 / 600 / nC. "nC" disables the auto-off function and the scale will have to be turned off manually.
- Once you have selected the desired time for automatic shut-off, press and hold the MODE key for 3 seconds to save the configuration and return to weigh mode. The timer display will return to 0:00 and the weight display will remain at zero.

How to change the unit of measure
While the scale is on, press and hold the MODE key for 3 to 4 seconds to enter configuration mode.
When in configuration mode, the timer display will change from 0:00 to a number value. Press the MODE key to change the unit of measure. The options to choose from are "g", "ml" or "oz". Once the desired unit of measure is selected, press and hold the MODE key for 3 to 4 seconds to save the configuration and return to weigh mode. The timer display will return to 0:00 and the weight display will remain at zero.

Will not tare to zero
Modes PR1, PR3, and PR4 only operate with an automatic tare function. Ensure you are on mode PR2 (manual mode) to be able to use the tare button.

Troubleshooting Warning Messages
"Err" - Overload
Stop item measurement immediately and remove all items from the scale. Power the scale off, and turn it back on. Leaving the scale in this state can damage the scale.
"Lo" - Low battery
Plug the micro USB cord into the scale to start charging. A red battery icon will indicate the scale is in the process of charging. A green battery icon will indicate a completed charge.
"UnSt" - Unstable
Place the scale on a level, flat, and stable surface. Do not use the scale on a padded table or countertop mat.
